The restaurant scene still bustles in the USA

In my first trip to the NRA Show in Chicago, since the onset of Covid, I found that whilst the restaurant scene still bustles, things are not back to normal. Transactions are down and profits are still under threat. Two trends stand out: the ever growing importance of limited service operators, and the continuing emphasis on omnichannel operations – dine in, take out, delivery, drive thru, and catering.
