How do politicians approach the hospitality sector?

For simplicity I shall assume (but not bet on the fact) that Labour will be the next party in power and of course, if I’m wrong, I’ll have the opportunity to write about this topic again in a couple of weeks, but from a different angle.

What does the Labour party intend to do about hospitality? In a word, not very much. The party’s manifesto does not appear to contain references that are aimed specifically at the hospitality sector. The commitments that it does contain, and which would impact hospitality, are not specific but are parts of broader economic and social policies that relate to many industries.
